The presentation-tasting of Georgian wines Askaneli was held at the initiative of Import Foods Company

The presentation-tasting of the new premium collection of Georgian wines Askaneli in an updated design ended with success. The event took place on 02.06.21 in the restaurant “Mama Gochi” at st. Architect Gorodetsky, 6.

Askaneli Winery & Distillery, whose wines and distillates were present, has been operating in the Ukrainian market for over 10 years. We remind you that the Georgian brand of alcoholic drinks Askaneli is the largest landowner in Kindzmarauli, an appellation of Georgia; owns 514 hectares of its own vineyards in the best regions; one of the three largest producers of elite alcohol in Georgia; highly appreciated by international experts in the spirits community and has many awards from prestigious international competitions and blind tastings of the world; has production facilities at three factories: bottling – Tbilisi, primary winemaking – Kakheti, chacha and fruit distillates – Guria.

Among the guests of the event were the owners, directors of popular Georgian restaurants in Kiev and Ukraine, famous sommeliers, journalists of specialized publications, opinion leaders and experts of the wine community.

The presentation-tasting was carried out by the Import Foods Company, and the main speaker at the event was the brand ambassador of Georgian Askaneli wines in Ukraine – Yuriy Glushko.

Samples of Askaneli wines and Anaseuli distillates selected for tasting were highly appreciated by experts for their sophistication, originality, richness of aromas and flavors. The presentation included the Askaneli wine collections: sparkling wines, Gocha`s Collection, Authors`s Collection, Qvevri Collection and Anaseuli distillates. Each product in a special way revealed the originality, versatility and essence of the brand’s philosophy itself: to contribute to Georgian winemaking, passing on the heritage of the country and family to future generations.
