«Dusha Monakha» is a new wine brand that has expanded the portfolio of the IMPORT FOODS COMPANY

«Dusha Monakha» is a wine brand from the Moldovan Company «Imperial Vin Group».

Wine company «Imperial Vin Group» was founded in 1977. It occupies the heart of the wine-growing region of Moldova, located on the territory of Valul lui Traian, famous for its unique conditions for the ripening of grapes. The climate allows the cultivation of grape varieties here: Merlot, Cabernet, Sauvignon, Pinot, Chardonnay, Riesling and others. Rich, comfortable conditions, unique terroir, quality of wines of protected geographic origin – made the Valul lui Traiana region a center of winemaking.
The enterprise carries out a full cycle of wine production:

  • Harvesting, processing of raw materials and bottling;
  • Control of fermentation;
  • Quality control at the physical and chemical level in own laboratories.
    Today the company has its own vineyards of 205 hectares. The production capacity is enough for the annual processing of about 15,000 tons of grapes, thanks to modern technological equipment. The bottling of wine takes place on an Italian line, which amazes with its capacity of 6,000 bottles per hour. The factory has ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 quality and food safety certificates.
    Wine «Dusha Monakha» is exported to many countries, including: China, Poland, Czech Republic, Italy, Great Britain, Germany, Greece and others. The work of winemakers appreciate all over the world, at all international exhibitions and wine competitions. Over the past years, the company has received 38 awards at leading industry tastings and events, which contributes to the growth of geography of supplies and brand awareness.

    The portfolio of Import Foods Company includes white and red semisweet wines «Dusha Monakha», made from European grapes, as well as single-varietal Chardonnay and Cabernet wines.
